Spring cleaning.
I can't wait to start cleaning out our house. Yesterday I tried to retrieve something from my closet and a huge pile of books, magazines, and file folders came crashing down on me.

You can help. Sorry, everything's taken, but you can order these things from the links in each paragraph. I have several brand new breastfeeding things to give away, and if you're quick you can have one (one per person, please).
To the left is a new 2007 calendar benefiting the Massachusetts Breastfeeding Coalition. I love it, but bought it before we got 27 calendars in the mail. So, be the first person to email me requesting it, and I'll ship it off (U.S only, please). (Sorry, it's taken.) If you're not the first but still want one, you can order it here as a calendar, poster, mug, bib, or t-shirt and support a great cause.
To the right is my all time favorite breastfeeding poster, on the benefits of skin-to-skin contact. The title is "It's my birthday, give me a hug!" Did you know that when skin-to-skin was introduced as a means of protecting premature babies in Columbia in the late 1970's, the mortality rate dropped from 70% down to 30%? For more on the benefits of skin-to-skin contact, click here. You can also download this poster as a flyer for free (pdf). Again, be the first person to email me requesting it, and it's yours (U.S. only, please). (Sorry, it's taken.) If you're not the first but still want one, you can order it here and support a great breastfeeding coalition.
Finally, I have one La Leche League/Lansinoh Breastfeeding Protection Initiative bracelet to give away. The bracelet says "Encourage, Support, Protect Breastfeeding." These bracelets benefit La Leche League's project to inform mothers of their breastfeeding rights. Be the first to email me and I'll send it off (U.S. only, please). (Sorry, it's taken) If you're not the first to email but want to buy one, see this page, where they're now offered in Spanish, too.
