Spring cleaning.

I can't wait to start cleaning out our house.  Yesterday I tried to retrieve something from my closet and a huge pile of books, magazines, and file folders came crashing down on me.

To the left is a new 2007 calendar benefiting the Massachusetts Breastfeeding Coalition.  I love it, but bought it before we got 27 calendars in the mail.  So, be the first person to email me requesting it, and I'll ship it off (U.S only, please). To the right is my all time favorite breastfeeding poster, on the benefits of skin-to-skin contact.  The title is "It's my birthday, give me a hug!"  Did you know that when skin-to-skin was introduced as a means of protecting premature babies in Columbia in the late 1970's, the mortality rate dropped from 70% down to 30%?  For more on the benefits of skin-to-skin contact, click here.  You can also download this poster as a flyer for free (pdf).  Again, be the first person to email me requesting it, and it's yours (U.S. only, please).
