An advance look at the new La Leche League International Intimate Apparel.

4101_3 This summer's Motherwear catalog will carry some new bras from La Leche League International Intimate Apparel, and I got an advance look at them.  I think there's something new to like about each one.

The first one, to the left, is called the La Leche League International "Wrap 'n Snap Bra."  It has a front adjusting strap to change with your body size (your rib cage, which expands during your 4103pregnancy, decreases gradually in size after your baby comes).  It's soft enough to sleep in and wear all day, and comes in several colors.

The next one is a great idea, in my opinion.  To the right is the new La Leche League International Low Impact Sports Bra.  It has a molded cotton/spandex soft cup, waffle mesh sides for air flow, and a sling inside for extra support.  And speaking of exercise...

Finally, there's the La Leche League International Hands-Free Pumping Bra (picture on the left).  It has a drop cup opening for nursing with an added feature - a Pump_pictures_2special layer for hands free pumping.  It has a seamless cup and no underwire. Beanbracelet_3

And as a gift with any purchase of these new bras, you'll get a new bracelet from La Leche League International Intimate Apparel.  It has a different image on each side, and can be used to help you remember which side you're on.  It can also be used as a pony tail holder.  It won't be sold separately.

The sports bra looks really comfortable. Depending on how the 8-week challenge goes, I might treat myself ;)

Arg! More thin-strap nursing bras... I *started* this pregnancy a 38DD, those thin straps just dig into my shoulders and cause more pain than going braless (which my doc doesn't like me to do because I've had OA developing since my early 20s, keep refusing a reduction until I'm done nursing and see what my breasts do naturally). I didn't really get much bigger in the cup with my first (was a 40H at the end of that pregnancy, but started out about 30lbs heavier than I was at the start of this one), just firmer when the milk came in, but the WEIGHT of milk-full breasts is KILLER at this size and it's so hard to find a bra that fits. Considering the body types I've seen at LLL meetings (they make me feel "normal" in so many ways), when I saw it was from them I had hopes that the straps would be wider... maybe in larger sizes they are???

Poot.

wow - i had no idea LLL was starting an intimate apparel line. these are such great ideas for bras. :)

Thanks for the information!!
