World Breastfeeding Week is August 1-7. This year's theme is "Breastfeeding: The First Hour - Save One Million Babies!"
Are you planning a World Breastfeeding Week event you'd like to publicize? Looking for artwork or photography submissions for a show? Let me know by email or by leaving a comment below, and I'll post it on the blog.
You can see a growing list of events already planned in the U.S. on the La Leche League website, and find materials for setting up your own event. You can also promote your event on the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action website where you can see the winners of their 2007 photo contest and download materials for your event.
