Happy day! I just heard from the Massachusetts Breastfeeding Coalition that Governor Patrick has signed the nursing in public bill. If you'd like to read it, here's the text
(pdf). The new law includes an enforcement provision.
I'm working on a business card with some of the text of the law on it, which moms can keep with them to show that the law is on their side. Our breastfeeding task force will hand them out. To the left is a draft, which you're welcome to print out and carry if you live in Massachusetts. Sorry it's so blurry now - I'm trying to fix it.
