This summer, when my daughter was much smaller, we experimented with having my son wear her (under careful supervision!). We met with my friend Meg (known in our house as "Meg, the babywearing expert"), who helped set up my son with some different wearing options.
When we first tried it out we were at a store in the town where I live, and when my son and husband walked to the bakery next door for a snack the sight of a seven year old wearing his baby sister caused a lot of double takes. One woman even teared up!
My daughter grew so quickly that my son only go to wear her a few times, but I love these pictures. Maybe as her weight plateaus and his size increases we'll work on a back carry...
