Back a few years ago I interviewed Kathi Barber for a podcast interview on African American moms and breastfeeding.
She said that one of the barriers to breastfeeding for black women is the lack of role models.
Wouldn't it be amazing, she said, if Beyonce had a baby and breastfed and was public about it?
Well, it looks like she (and many of others of us) got her wish.
