I'm late writing about this one (and the reaction from Whoopi Goldberg - take a deep breath before watching) but here goes:
Mayor Michael Bloomberg is pushing as many as 24 New York City hospitals to become Baby Friendly.
It's a very encouraging sign, one of many in the last year or so that suggest that evidence-based support for breastfeeding is slowly but surely making its way into American hospitals.
